For Claude

Save a Claude conversation as a PDF or image

Keep a visual reference of a Claude answer or conversation. Page to Image captures the rendered page in your browser; crop and annotate the result before exporting a local file.

When a visual capture helps

Save the rendered conversation, not a data dump

A screenshot can preserve the visible arrangement of messages, headings, and code in one image. It is useful for sharing a specific result or keeping it with project notes.

A local workflow

Capture, refine, and save.

  1. Open and load the relevant exchange

Scroll through the conversation so the messages you want are rendered. Review the page before capture if Claude is still generating or loading content.

  2. Choose the capture area

Use Full page for the available conversation, Visible area for the current screen, or Selected area for one response. Crop and annotate in Capture review.

  3. Save the visual result

Export PNG, JPEG, or PDF, or copy the image. Large captures can preserve full resolution while opening in export-only mode if browser editing limits are exceeded.

Choose the right export

Need an export of your Claude account data?

Anthropic provides an account data export. That serves a different purpose from a visual, per-conversation capture of the Claude page in your browser.

What to know before you capture

Your capture and edits stay in your browser. Page to Image does not upload page contents or screenshots for processing.

Common questions about Claude

Can I save a Claude chat as a PDF?

Yes. Capture the conversation in your browser and choose PDF in Capture review. The PDF preserves the image, not selectable transcript text.

Does Page to Image export all of my Claude data?

No. It captures a webpage visually. Use Anthropic’s account export if you need a download of account data.

Can it capture a conversation that is still loading?

Wait for the page to finish loading the messages you need, scroll through them, and inspect the capture before exporting.
